Governors discuss and have input on:
The Governing Body is made up of four groups who represent the 'stakeholders' of the school – the staff, the parents, the community and the Local Authority. We come from a wide range of backgrounds, who bring a wide range of skills, experience and perspectives to the governing body.
Co-opted Governor - appointed by the governing body and who, in the opinion of the governing body, has the skills required to contribute to the effective governance and success of the school. As a co-opted governor, they may have an area of specialist knowledge or experience or bring a wide range of skills and experience to the role of a governor.
Parent Governor – elected by the parents of registered pupils at the School.
Staff Governor – must be paid to work at the school and elected by the Staff.
Local Authority Governor -
We have a full board of governors who work closely with the school to ensure that the children are getting the best education possible,
The next tabs include a short biography of current members of the Governing Body.
We are required to summarise various details relating to the governors for the last academic year. See below for details of committees and the Governor's register of interest.
